Bidassoa Basque Brewery started as an idea from our head brewer Carlos Arrecubieta, PhD in Microbiology and with extensive experience in scienti c research in Madrid, Manchester and especially in New York, where his interest in brewing developed over the years. After his collaboration with Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. (NY), he decides to go back to his native Basque Country to open a craft brewery with his friend Iñigo Pérez, turning one of their great passions into their professions.

Bidassoa Basque Brewery began production during the fall of 2014. From that moment on we have been growing constantly, adding new beers to our range of products, which are divided into several di erent lines.

Currently, our premises include a production area with an annual production capacity of up to 240,000 liters and our newly renovated tap room area where our clients can sample our full range of beers, paired with a carefully selected menu of pintxos (tapas) as well as both hot and cold dishes.
